Prosecute Bush War Crimes/Time to Move On

Dave Tomar: The idea of trying Bush for War Crimes is nothing more than a heartwarming fantasy. We’d love to picture him on the stands like the disheveled and disgraced Saddam Hussein, madly clinging to the idea of his own executive immortality as the gallows swing in breezy anticipation of his deserving neck. But we would all be on trial.

HOWARD MEGDAL: The best analogy, to borrow from FDR’s Lend-Lease, is to a house on fire. Obviously, we need to put the fire out. Any good municipality does that. But when it’s out, you go get the arsonists. Investigations take time. Let them begin.
